    P1: An Amstrak fast mail train carrying 108 passenggers and crew members derailed as it was nearing New York at 6.33 A.M on Saturday. The train was speeding across the Hackensack River Bridge when it left the track, almost hit a train headed in the opposite direction and then fell 30 feet down an embankment into a marsh.
